Can I see some 15x10s please?

I'm looking for some wheel options for my 71 k10. I have a 4" lift with some 33s. I would like to see if anyone is having issues with 15x10 aluminum wheels with 4" backspacing rubbing the caliper or caliper bracket. Ive done some searching and it seems that its a hit or miss or you need to do some shaving. I'm not against going up to a 16 though

Plus I'd like to see some modern wheels so if you got some pics lemme see!

Re: Can I see some 15x10s please?

Shouldn't have any issues. I ran 15 x 10s on a K/20. Those have larger calipers. I did have to grind just a bit off along the center where there's a ridge from the casting.

Thats what I originally had, the wagon wheels. I sure do wish XD wheels carried a good looking 15 or 16"

Re: Can I see some 15x10s please?

Those wheels & tires I originally had on a '69 Dodge Power Wagon with drum brakes. The 15" set was a lot cheaper and I was young and they were a big chunk to bite off. Made the tires (37") look bigger too! I got that '71 K/20 in '82 when I got rid of the Dodge. When those tires wore out I bought 16.5 steelies. Anyway, lets see what others with K/5s and K/10s with various 10" wheels show & say here. I just figure if they worked with larger brakes you should be alright.

Re: Can I see some 15x10s please?

Or does anyone know if they make a steel 15x10 that I can put dog dish caps on?

This is derotoreut's truck that I'm in love with except I would like to find 15x10s as my tires are 33x12.5

Re: Can I see some 15x10s please?

Their 12 series is a 15x10 but their backspacing is 4.5" I'm scared the tie rod end will rub.

Re: Can I see some 15x10s please?

If you call them up you can order them with custom offsets. Might cost you an extra $15 per wheel.
Also these rims aren't as thick as the factory steelies, or at least the 3/4 ton ones aren't.

Re: Can I see some 15x10s please?

Oh good! Thanks for the info. Also one more question if you had to guess what size dog dish is on derotoreut's? I believe his is a 16" wheel

If mine is 15" I will need something smaller wont I?

Re: Can I see some 15x10s please?

Not necessarily. 5 and 6 lug 1/2 ton use one size and 8 lug 3/4 and 1 ton use another.

Re: Can I see some 15x10s please?

Wheel Vintiques only makes the smoothie style in 6-lug,not the OEM type. Stockton Wheel will make them. We just went through this in another thread a few days ago.

Re: Can I see some 15x10s please?

Mine is a 6 lug. Will the wheel vintique smoothie work with the dog dish? If not then stockton it is. Sorry for all the questions I would hate to have to do this twice or order a wrong custom wheel.

Wow ya I've never seen those before. They kinda remind me of a thicker wagon wheel
