jorgensensc - can you get me a pic?

Jorgensens

Wondering if you could take a close up of your gas filler door. I have mine cut, but I think I have to move my light about 1/2". I centered it in the door when I cut it, but I think it needs to be a little closer to the arm. Looks like the arm will hit if I leave it where it is.
If anyone else has done this anybody's pic will work.

Thanks

Shawn

I did - I just need a close up. As a matter of fact I think my printer is about tired of printing that FAQ. Everytime I print it I either get it too greasy to read or the dog chews up the page I am working on.

Yeah, I'm planning on doing it myself. Maybe I should print it and laminate it at work.

71swb4x4,
Sorry it took so long for me to respond!!! I will find my Digi camera tomorrow and take a few!! I will tell you that the light is a little off center of the fuel door (if I remember correctly). I will verify with pictures tomorrow!!

Sounds great to me, no real hurry here. I hope to reference the light placement with the rib that comes down the arm and goes into the door.

Thank You!!!!

Shawn

71swb4x4,
Here are the pics you wanted!! Let me know if you need anymore. Sorry it took so long, couldn't find the camera. Turns out the wife had it hidden away!! There is still morning dew on the truck, please ignore that.

All measurements were taken from the edge of the filler door itself, not the lense.

BTW, looking at it it is very close to the inside rib that comes doen. I think that is where I referenced it. To be honest, you will have to put it together and take it apart several times to get it right. Make sure you leave yourself enough room so the lense doesn't hit the side of the fender when it is opened all the way.

Man with the cool name

Shawn -

Thanks a ton. I really appreciate you taking the time to take the pics for me. I will post some pics of mine once I get it done. It will likely be a while with the holidays upon us.

Shawn
