Bent hood

Got my hood to close right thanks to some help from you guys. Thanks.

One side has a nice bend in the middle.

Anyone ever use the hood reinforcer from lmc says stops and REPAIRS bends in hood?

hood kink

when i bought my truck the po had repaired the kinks on both
sides an then renforced them by laying 5/8 rebar 18" long in
under side grove & tack welded along edge..seems to be
holding fine..good luck.

Weld it on and it's a perment fix. If you just try to use the screws it will fail. I know because I have a hood sitting behind the garage I am about to put on my truck because it's kinked.

Actually I may have just come accross a 85 front clip in exactly the style I like (M1008). I might have this perfectly straight but surface rusted hood for sale. It came off a 77.
