The tailgate itself, or the band? Each one is unique for 73/74...the brand embossment is different between the two for the gate, and the band will have holes for the chevy emblem, but none for the gmc.

Had to do this, I have the band with no holes for a 73 or 74 gmc still in a gm box that my dad bought back in the day from a local dealer when he had his truck. not for sale but good luck with your search.
