Re: 1970 Outer Tie Rod End

I figured the previous owner used 73-87 parts for the conversion. But the length of the tie rod and size of the thread match none of these. I bought everything for a 70 outer, inner and sleeve to see if this will work.

1970 outer, inner and sleeve will work with a 63-70 center link and drum brake spindle.
The only way they will work with a disc brake spindle is if someone used aftermarket 63-70 disc brake conversion spindles.

You have to figure out what year spindle is on your truck!
