Headlight switch FAIL!
Hey All,
Has this ever happened to anyone-I was replacing the headlight knob and ow the new knob and the old knob won't turn the headlights on. The rod is not catching what it needs to and just slides right out. The switch still turns on the cab light when turned? Do I need a new switch? |

Yep. The little clip on the inside is broken. Happened to me recently.

How did you remove the knob? If you pulled it out without pushing in on the release button under the dash you probably broke the retainer inside the switch as CST10 said. LockDoc

Re: Headlight switch FAIL!
Yeah I probably did. I was reaching under the dash to hit the button and I most likely didn't engage the release enough. Doesn't matter, I found a replacement at AZ for 12$ bucks. Whatevs…..
