Hmm. That edge wear is a concern. As much as I want to swap in a 4.11 gear, it has to be nice to make it worth the effort. Not being a diff expert, I couldn't tell you if that means the whole pumkin is blown, but I'm guessing chances are that is is. Is there noticeable slop/play in the pinion bearing?
Anyone else got input here?

I'd be interested in bed side support braces. The round rods that bolt bed sides to cross braces on bed floor. Also any useable front bolts. Fenders grille bolts. Cab mount bushings if decent shape. Shipped to nj 08009

I can't see the pinion but if it is chewed up on the ring gear then the pinion must have equal wear, looks like an alignment issue and it is pretty sharp when you touch it, been doing it awhile. Here is a 4:10 ring and pinion with a good pic off of ebay for reference.

I still have the emblems, I am using the choke cable and no , the hood is to nice to cut up.
