Misc parts

so going through some of the parts today taking inventory, i have numerous brackets that i need to identify. alongside some other parts. If you guys could help my out that would be much appreciate whether i use them or they end up being sold to finance the project is upto the answers. if you look at my thread you might get an idea why i might be asking this question..

Re: Misc parts

Just by glancing..

2nd from the bottom looks like a tranny and throttle mount plate for the carb.

Do you have a TH350? looks like the cable is the kick down cable running from the above mentioned bracket to the tranny.
EDIT: Just looked at your thread and seen the std tranny, if the steering column is a 3 on the tree then not too sure that the cable is for. maybe the previous owner was saving parts to do a conversion? Cable could be throttle cable, cant tell how long it is.

The flat plate brackets that have the bolt going thru them are for the brake power booster.

The long steel rods are from the steering column to the tranny .

The parts that look like pipe with the 2 steel plate sticking out of them are also for the tranny, it should mount under the driver side of the cab.

The big greasy plate with the holes goes between the engine and tranny, it has a hole for the starter nose to stick thru.

Re: Misc parts

are you talking about the 1st second or third image? and I am using a saginaw 3 speed, does this plate need to go in prior to the clutch assembly?

1st pic: http://www.ebay.com/bhp/chevy-bellhousing-cover

2nd pic almost looks like a 4 cyl oil pump front engine cover, not too sure.

3rd pic i believe is suppose to go on before the fly wheel. its too thin to be any kind of adapter plate. what engine?

Ref # 69.
Does not show the larger plate in this breakdown but i'm pretty sure they come together somehow if you check them over.

Re: Misc parts

In the 4th and 5th picture there is a piece of bracket that's a piece of pipe with a couple flat bars coming off it, that's called a z-bar, it is part of the clutch linkage some of those parts came off of a manual shift truck.

Ford timing cover

Ford engine plate...goes between flywheel/flexplate and engine.

Looks like a Ford throttle cable bracket

Re: Misc parts

hmm makes sense since some of the belt pulleys i has were ford i think the guys mixed in some parts, but atleast i can sell some of this to a ford guy and buy me some parts i guess. that is if this stuff is worth anything to anyone. and another reason im asking this is because i think i may have junked my e brake by accident and will have to buy replacement and i dont wanna toss anything out anymore... I do appreciate the help tho and not being very familiar with mechanical its nice to have a helping hand.
