Doing my daily CL scan and came across this......what a fricken cool induction setup and apparently VERY rare. So if you have $8200 burning a hole in your pocket!

My fav is the last line ,will trade for a running 56 nomad. While we are talking rare, how many running 56 nomads have we seen lately for only grand? Jim

Only a grande? Where'd you see that? Man I love it!! I grew up with this stuff. 327 running Weber side drafts is the bomb! '60s racing is the coolest. I ought to buy this to put under the hood of one of my Cheetahs......Yeah Right?

I can imagine tuning those carbs would be a constant PITA...

I remember an old Volvo that a family friend had where it had a 4 cyl that had 2 Strombergs requiring constant tuning...He loved the car, hated the maintenance.

That Inglese EFI unit would be awesome! I agree that the tuning would probably put a damper on the fun with carbs.

Why everybody thinks carbs need constant tuning makes me LOL...

Even multi carb setups don't need constant tuning when done correctly.

Actually you could just purchase the setup that I posted and convert it over to electronic fuel injection and not worry about carb tuning if you see that as a problem. Of course by the end of the day you may be +$10k into an induction system! Hell, I'm just gonna spend $12,500 on a new 6.2 LSA / 556hp CTS-V motor!!!

Thank you, I was going to say the same thing. Back in the summer of 79 I had a 68 Firebird with a tri power 455. Ran really sweet but I got into trouble with it. Setting up the carbs was a simple as setting up a single 4 barrel, if not easier.

Not so rare. Jim Inglese makes it. DCOE webers are a pita to get set up properly. I would rather have this in my truck:

a Gale Banks 355 C.I. Twin Turbo......like the one pictured.....you can buy the kit ( to install on your own engine) for $8500.00 but the engine pictured- is a get this....$35,000 price tag......

I have some of that sitting in the corner

these are 4 dellorto DHLA45 tri jet pressure carbs off US spec Lotus Esprit turbo on top of AWM custom made 1 off intake - not a moon - and some more crap

but I have more of those individual runner things (I sort of collect unique stuff)

if you want something really unique how about this, Duggan heads. Webers bolt straight to it, or use the spider manifold

Its not mine. Reverse grind cam, turns the intake into the exhaust. Id love to build a setup like this for my old ski/drag boat.
Or it would be nice for a turbo setup.
Think this was the hot setup for formula cars for a while.
