Picked up 9 or so GMC Grilles and a small NOS Lot over the weekend

This is NOT a for sale post! When I get time to take individual pictures I will post in the classifieds. It may be a while as I am leaving town again Thursday to pick up more parts. As many of you know I spend a lot of time scouring the country for parts. I stumbled onto some good stuff over the weekend. Only 3 of the GMC grille are perfect the others have small cracks or damage. None were sun rotted at all which is nice. They were so cheap I bought every GMC grille. Nothing in the small NOS lot is earth shatteringly exciting but it is NOS so I never pass it up. I needed the door trim for myself as I am gradually gathering up NOS pieces for my truck.

Thanks! Nothing too exciting! Haven't picked up the grilles from my friends house yet. I had him haul them for me and I didn't have room.

Do you ever find any decent used stepside sidemarker lenses for 74 up trucks ? If you do let me know ,we dont have any good yards for old stuff anymore .

I don't really find any nice lenses or anything like that around here as the sun in Phoenix is just BRUTAL on plastic items. I do see stepsides every now and again at the yards though so I will keep my eyes open

Where and how in the heck do you find all these NOS pieces. I wish I still worked at the Chevy dealership. I could run numbers all day and go through their inventory and get all the goodies.

Seriously though, I may be looking for a GMC grill for my father in laws 79 K25 Sierre Grande. I thought his was pretty nice but is missing a couple of fins.

As this is what I do for a living I travel EVERYWHERE! The NOS stuff is thin but it does show up. Only 3 of the grilles I got were perfect but you would cry if you knew how cheap I got them for! I don't have the heart or budget to use all NOS stuff on my truck but I do want NOS trim, lights and exterior items. I probably would hate to think what I spend on travel expenses but I am making a living at it.
