Was The Motor Orange on 72 GMC - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I know in the early days some GMC's had different color motors than Chevy's. I assumed the 72 GMC was orange. Correct

I had a 72 GMC a long time back and I think its motor was orange but I cant say for sure ,it was a 307 .

The motor in the 72 should be orange. I love a fresh and clean orange painted engine. Jim
