72 frame 86 body
Does any one have any pics and tips on mounting a 86 body on a 72 3/4 frame

Just so you don't think you are being ignored I'll say that I have never seen one, nor heard of a body swap like that. I would think it would be a challenge because the frames are quite a bit different. On the other hand anything is possible if you have a cutting torch, welder, grinder, and a good imagination. Just curious-why would you want to? You can buy decent square body frames even in 4wd pretty easily. Why go to all the hassle? I can't see an upside.

Agreed. I really like the 86-87 body style, and would never think of putting one on a 72 frame.
