Target employee and card user during the breach...don't find the jokes funny, especially after layoffs yesterday that affected my team and co-workers I consider friends first. **** can happen to anyone or any business...theft these days comes in may shapes and forms and can be difficult or impossible to prevent. Thieves always seem to find a way to steal.

Hope you can locate a truck at a store or hobby shop near you, it's pretty sweet...comes with a second larger diameter set of wheels/tires and a screwdriver to change them.

Re: saw this at the store...

No offense intended. Comments are bound to happen. I'm sure Target can appreciate cash. They never made interest off of me anyway,so cash is more profitable for them, which will help them through the hardship that I don't hold Target responsible for in any way. I'm sure that's a sensitive subject for any employee. I just ordered a Moroso oil pan heater from Amazon yesterday (for my diesel's fuel tank) because we're having serious cold and my fuel gelled. I have an Amazon card. Today I see an e-mail from Walmart about my order#. Ok,I know stuff through Amazon can come from other sources, but didn't recall seeing my order was from Walmart yesterday. The e-mail said they couldn't process my order because my address wasn't legible. Huh? Can't they read my typing? They wanted me to click a link to fix the issue and I had a week to do it or they'd charge me 18%...WHAT??? First of all,I paid 20 bucks extra for 1-day shipping! I need that thing. I contacted Amazon, they confirmed it's coming today, everything is honkydorry, and they know nothing about Walmart,it's coming directly from them. So,looks like a hacker scam involving the two biggest names in retail in the world. Experts say expect a whole lot more to come and I guess I just saw it within a month of the Target and Neiman Marcus ordeal.

I guess this Jada is another variety of the 1/25 scale casting. I have a sliver one with the bling bling wheels (before I knew there were better choices) and really want a better version with 15" wheels, narrow whitewalls, and stock-like two-tone paint to add to my collection. I like this one alright and I'd like to give Target some business anyway.

Re: saw this at the store...

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago; at Target.
Yes, it is a new series; Just Trucks. The series comes in 1:64 scale also. They've had another red/white one out for a couple of months. I've got a couple of those also.
Walmart carries the 1:64 scale. I don't know about the 1:24 scale though; they're sold out of everything right now.
Target doesn't carry the 1:64 scale.

the 1:24 scale was $19.99 plus tax. the 1:64 are $3.99 or $4.99; can't remember which.

Ah, man! That is horrible. Jokes are just jokes meant to be in good fun but I agree, it’s not funny when it hits close to home. The reality for us is we prefer to shop at Target over Wal-Mart any day. And you’re also right….this could happen to anybody and it probably will happen again over and over. Target just got targeted this time.

Re: saw this at the store...

My Target never has cool truck stuff. They do have pictures of my old dog everywhere, and that is good enough reason for me to shop there. Have to keep my eyes open for one (or more) of those.

Re: saw this at the store...

I picked up one of the 1/24 trucks at Target last night. Nice looking truck. I haven't been able to find the 1/64 anywhere except for ebay.
