Max tire size on stock height Sub?

I am buying a 72 Sub 1500 4x4 and wanted some guidance on what the max tire size is that can fit without rubbing etc. I've had Jimmy's/Blazers that would fit 33"s at stock height, but figured I should ask the experts.

What wheels are you running? Offset might come into play.... But I'm running 33s with a 3ish (maybe 4) inch lift - no rubbing (with my steelies). BUT, mine had Weld wheels on it when I bought it... Passenger front rubbed a little with 33s with the Weld wheels.

I cannot say for stock height.

I believe they are 15x8 steel wheels.

For a stock height K10 with 15X8 steelies you should be able to run 31X10.5x15 tires without them rubbing. You would probably be okay with 32X11.5X15 also.

Re: Max tire size on stock height Sub?

I had a 72 Custom Deluxe Suburban with 3 rows of seats. They usually have more rear leaf springs in the trucks with the third seat. I ran stock size 31 10.50 15's on stock steel wheels, but I will probably upgrade to some 32 11.50 15's that I have because they look a little bit lost in the wells.
