Re: '67 Keg Sled
Did some more work on my Z.
Put a coat of paint on some of it and started my mock up. Still have to do a little plating on the inside of the back of the frame. Got to do a little more to the steering linkage to get some more clearance above the upper control arm. I have figured out how I just need to get a short piece of spine shaft. |

Re: '67 Keg Sled
I cant afford a drop member right now so I went this way.
It wasnt hard at all did it by myself with a floor jack and couple sets of jack stands. Got it cut and tack welded in just a couple hours. |

Re: '67 Keg Sled
Well its been a while since I have done anything. I moved so I havent worked on the truck since. I pot my 307 for sale and it might get picked up this weekend. If it does I will be picking up a 6.0 I found as long as it stayed put. Will also get my drop spindles and and install them. Hopefully tunnel my trans so I can drop the engine and trans in too.

Re: '67 Keg Sled
It's been a while since I have posted anything on here. I was out of town for work for about 8 months or so. Ended up coming back end of July 2013. Wound up getting a divorce in Oct. still have the truck just haven't had funds to do much. I do have my 6 lug rotors I just have to get bearings and new spindles. Had to sell mine to cover things to get by. I have picked up a pair of leather Mitsubishi eclipse bucket seats for it. The 6.0 fell through and after a bunch of research I have decided to go with a late model 8.1 and t56 speed manual trans. Once I get back on my feet after this divorce is done I start back on it.
