1987 S 10 Blazer
bought a 87 S 10 blazer in 2012. Just got 1991 Chevy full size station wagon with 5.7, what to drop the engine and trans in the Blazer. Blazer has the 2.8 slug in it. Any help on what it's going to take to do the swap would be appreciated. Is there a kit out there that would make this easy?

Re: 1987 S 10 Blazer
There are all kinds of swap parts out there for this type of project. I am currently working on an '87 pickup swap myself. Summit and Jegs are the most well known places that sell parts. You can buy a whole kit or buy parts individually as you go. I have purchased the motor mounts for the motor that will bolt directly to the stock ones on the frame for my project. Kits vary but most have motor mounts, headers, and oil pan together. You can also buy them with exhaust and radiator included. Just depends on how much you want to spend. Ebay has a good selection as well. Compare prices and you should be able to save money.
