I was also thinking about caps BUT the rims are actually all different from each other so that might not be an option... |

Too bad about the rims, how hard would it be to find a matching set?

Re: am i not cool?
Thanks! I only have three of them though. If I was restoring the entire truck I'd like to go back to the split rims with the "farm skinnies" bias ply tires, but since this is going to be my daily driver "parts runner" truck, and since I'm leaving the body basically the way it is, I'd kind of like to find some stock looking 16" steel rims and put some all-terrain radials on them.
Plus, the wagon wheels aren't mine. I just borrowed them from my cousin so I could move the truck into my storage shed.

Re: am i not cool?
To each his own I guess, but for me I hate the air bagged "slam" look. I think these trucks were so cool from the factory that I hate to see someone put different model dashes, later model beds and chop the tops. I think the stock height is fine and I think no 4x4 way up high looks better than these trucks. What I have done to mine and my personal fave is a 4.5/5 inch stactic drop. For a two wheel drive I like that look the best.

Re: am i not cool?
I enjoy the bags and the static slams, but for my personal truck, I'm kind of enjoying the sag of 40+ year old springs. Puts it an inch or so where it sat when new, I imagine.

Re: am i not cool?
pepin, Like your truck. I plan on all white for my C20, but , just curious... I see all trucks with color , top and bottom with a white side inset. Has anyone ever done a white truck, top and bottom, with a color side inset??
