air bag questions/pics wanted

im bulding a 83 chevy c10 stepside, and I want to bag it, im collecting the compressor and tank and have valves but want to sell them and get the acuair manifold, so that stuff im good on understanding, my question and request for pics is, how is your truck bagged? what you use, where it com from, what bags, lay frame, and how if so? long with what you use for the rear set up? I was thinking on just using cups and plates with 3 inch drop spindels, and a 2 link and a c-notch in the frame, then I decided I wanted to lay frame and section my cross member and cup the lower arms with the 2 link kit from ekstensive, I know about the porterbuilt kits and ride tech kits, just don't have that kind of money so was wondering what you guys are doing and what it looks like wheel and tire size if you have the inner fenders in still, and what bags your using, thanks for any advice and pics or links

The front won't lay frame the crossmember hangs below the frame. The front to lay frame you need a dropmember or z the frame. The rear i would skip the 2 link they change pinion angles way to far thru the suspension travel.Porterbuilt does sell a weld in rear kit that is a little cheaper then his bolt in kit.Keeping the inter fenders depends wheel size most take them out,The other option is slush tubes a guy on here was making bigger raised inter fenders.

Re: air bag questions/pics wanted

People use to pancake the crossmember http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/chopcross.html but no one does it anymore with the aftermarket we have today its easier and better to get a dropmember or scotts hot rods ifs.I know your trying to do things as cheap as you can,But why not save up longer and do it right the first time? Most to try to cut corners end up with a truck they don't like and start over spending even more money.
