454 TBI engine for complete swap out . good deal.

You guys know I have been a member here for quite while. well This guy RON BROOKS just called me up and wants my 350 TBI crate engine. He has this complete 454 (following write-up) that he needs to sell. I need the garage space or I would swap for this in a heartbeat(pun) . Read all this info- this engine is quite a bargain and has already been road tested . It had less than 500 miles on it when the dually bit the dust. I have nothing to do with this engine so don't bother replying to me or here on line. I'm just passing on a bargain. Engine is in Peoria , Illinois area. DAVE
This is Ron's write up.
I have a complete 454 TBI for sale. Includes from oil pan -to- flex plate -to- throttle body (reworked) -to- motor mounts -to- waterpump, a/c compressor, ps pump, brackets, pulleys, oil cooler lines, distributor, exhaust manifolds (new) .....well....you get the picture! Just unbolt the trans and motor mounts and lift out, that's pretty much how complete. The engine just received a $5000+ rebuild with all the best machine work and parts! Aftermarket computer compatable cam, 9.2 to 1 hyper. pistons, molly rings, torque plate bored and honed, new valves, springs, ARP complete rod, main, head and etc. bolt kits... and so on! Should be around 350-375 hp. LOTS OF TORQUE! Less than 500 miles since all the work! Came out of 1-ton dually. Was putting in my 88 1/2 ton ext cab, but decided to stay with small block. Perfect for a BBC conversion. I need to get around $2900 for everything! If someone is doing a swap into an older truck I can probably come up with all the wiring and Computer needed also. For you guys that are running a small block TBI already the wiring is basically the same you just need a prom for the big block. Call me (Ron Brooks) at 309-547-5822 and I'll tell you anything you want to know, Thanks!
