Craigslist sighting! 1969 short bed 4X4

Not sure this is the correct place for this, or even if it is allowed - so delete or move as needed, I won't be offended.

This is not my truck, nor do I know the person that owns it!

I found this ad while surfing on Craigslist this morning - here is a link to it:

http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/4322368761.html

Hope someone near by can take a look at it and do some good. Jay

Maybe, but if that chassis is rust free, definitely worth it IMO. Course I would try to get it for less..

Yea it is...being from there originally and going back in a few months ive seen that happen. My truck was never from the midwest and its there now, but it wont be driven anywhere near a salty road

Re: Craigslist sighting! 1969 short bed 4X4

Tom

If you bring your truck anywhere in the salt belt, don't let it out of the garage in the winter time.... It will disapear before your eyes.
The only time the one I'm build now will see the snow is when I open the garage door, and let it peak out !!! "LOL"

Production numbers were relatively small too. In 72 there were something like 18k 1/2 tons (can't recall if that's SWB plus LWB though) and about 19k 3/4 tons produced. IIRC something like 40k 1972 K5s were produced.
