Yea but there are clear reasons why drag cars and any pro will go with an "old and out dated" big or small block and go carb'd.
1 a million more ways to make cubic inches compared to a ls
2 horsepower rating is way higher on aftermarket racing engines than a stock motor
3 not as many performance upgrades including efi are there yet for ls motors
Yes I acknowledge ls motor can be really fast but in my application it does not fit.
