Re: 49 GMC Pickup

Oh I could vent for days. Scrapping drives me nuts, luckily I have alot of land to keep stuff so I don't have to scrap. I'd rather not support an industry that just fuels killing off all antiques. NOT to mention yeah it just all goes to china and gets turned into more junk. This day and age we are so money hungry because a 5 year old car isn't good enough, if something breaks we want new, new, new. I get so disgusted with the thought of all this stuff that is worth SOOO much more than what they buy it for, getting turned into true worthless crap. Been wanting to start a site called the rescue network, thats kinda like a CL for anything old that is knocking on the shredders door. Here is the shirts I made for it.

Henry, Im with you buddy!!! I want to put a big ass sign out in front of the scrap yard that says
"HEY YOU IDIOTS, BEFORE YOU SCRAP THAT ANTIQUE VEHICLE CALL ME!!!"
You have a more diplomatic method! LOL. I was pissed.
I only take the new "crap" to scrap... Take off parts from work... rotors, old spray cans, shocks, struts... junk like that. Nothing of any value... Junk makes junk!
