C10 dreamin we are working on the kit this week sould be able to give you a price by early next week, dont go buy any hardware the kit will come with everything you need to make the hood struts work except a guy to install them thats up to you. Thanks for your continued interest in our product it will release soon!!!!!

Now are the gas shocks going to supply any more lifting power than the factory spring hinges?

Installed my hood strut kit last night. EZ PZ install. Took me about an hour. I was also aligning my hood & latch set-up during the install as it has been off for a while after the motor swap. If everything had been already aligned, I prob would have gotten it done a little quicker.
Excellent alternative for those that can't utilize OE hinge springs on their 81-87/81-91 trucks/blazers/burbs....

See, sometimes people can start something. I never heard about these hinges before this thread and saw a pair and nothing could stop me from grabbing a pair...
Now I need to find a straight hood to go with them
