69 grille on a 67 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Well guys I'm havin one hell of time finding a 67/8 grille and when I do find one, paypal cancels my transactions for some unknown reason me, the last guy I tried to buy from, and the bank can't figure out.

So my journey was to switch from a 69 c10 to a 67 c10 front clip. Sold my 69 fenders and hood. Now I have 2 nice 67 fenders, no hood (yet) and a 69 grille.

So my question is, is their anyone out there that has any pics of a 69 grille on 67 fenders and hood??

It wont work but it should be easy to trade your 67 fenders for 69 ones.

I see 67/68 Chevy grilles on the parts board all the time. I'm sure anyone would accept a postal money order. I have yet to get a PayPal account and I buy parts all the time.

You must have good eyes. I've only found one 67/8 grille and I've been looking since December.

Just lending a hand,that's all. My eyes are getting pretty bad,but I can't afford to go to the optometrist. Getting by with reading glasses,though.

I see Marilyn without my reading glasses (after drinking chocolate milk

Yep everybody is hunting for a 67 68 grille I would hold out and get a 67 68 grille you already have the fenders I see this same question on here all the time , you can find one and as said above use a money order if you have to they are some great guys on here that sell parts in the parts forum I find it hard to believe that someone don't have a 67 68 grille heck I see them guys in texas parting out trucks they claim are to rough to be repaired with cherry grilles those posts erk me cause most of them trucks only need minor work LOL

Yeah the "homebuilt hotrods" guys is the guy I was talking with about paypal situation. He said others were in line to buy so I told him he could sell it. Didn't know it was still available.

Hey,sorry about the hijacking. I did see the one you're talking about. You should have just went with a postal money order. But,I'm sure I've seen others since December.
To use a 69 grille you'll need a core support,fenders,hood,and grille center support. I'd say patience is your best friend. Pony up the $25 for a membership so you can post a WTB. You'd be surprised one will likely pop out of the woodwork

Yep they make a new repro but they are $350 or so I just looked on ebay found two used ones $150ish ,,
