Thanks Guys!! It didnt look exactly like that when I bought it though. It had been sprayed with a house paint sprayer.

When I first got it I started stripping the paint off the top of the fender I noticed this nice patina fade. Alot of aircraft stripper and a scotch bright pad did the trick, but it took for ever and I had be careful not to strip it to metal.

So after that it was a very tedious paint stripping. I had to get the house paint off without damaging the old school paint.

This was what the paint looked like when I first brought it home. This was with alot of the front stripped already. Youve seen the after. Luckily it was only the sides and the hood.





If you find a truck covered in house paint it may be a really cool patina under that crusty coat.FYI
