here's my newly acquired square, 2nd one!

Well i just recently sold a problematic 2000 Ford Lightning, which was a clean and very quick truck but the engines designing and issues left a lot to be desired. So i found this absolute GEM down in the sticks of the Carolina's

all restored documented 65k miles and TONS of receipts and documents including the bill of sale from 1984 when it sold for $14,398.68 haha. its full optioned except for power locks. original engine was a 305 of course, but WHO CARES! the engine is 427, with TH400 trans. All i know is it has an intake manifold, .560 lift comp cam, and RR arms. runs very strong but due to the big cam it needs to get moving a bit to start going fast. I hate the double pumper POS that's on it, and plus its not big enough only 650CFM to feed it.

right now I'm trying to figure out if its a true 427 out of a corvette or a 396 or a 454, or maybe a passenger car engine. its apprently got 1968+ heads. but I changed the oil in it and it only took 5 quarts and apparently the only BBC's to take 5 quarts with a filter were passenger cars like the late 60's impala's. the engine was installed in 1989 at 43k miles. so its anyones guess!

here's my first square that i ever owned, some might recognize

Put a bumper and some different wheels and it will be perfect

yeah I'm not a fan of the choice of wheels, although they could look a lot worse, I want to swap for a set of 15'' cragars if i can find someone that wants to swap just wheels locally.

the wheels honestly dont look bad to me at all. i like the big meaty looking tires. gives it a stock car racer type feel.

I actually really like those wheels. They look like the Corvette aluminum wheels from the late 70's up to '82, but those would be 5x4.75 bolt pattern. Never knew anyone offered wheels like that in 5x5. Sweet score!
