Yes it is. Especially since I've only just started learning about turbos but I'm up to the challenge. I think it'll be an interesting first build to say the least.. i happen to be a very creative person so the planning on paper portion will be stupid easy for me.. the hands on part should be entertaining for ya'll haha.
i know two guys on gm fullsize did turbo ls trucks you may talk with them for the hurdles.

you guys may be best to buy a whole wrecked truck and parting it. would be cheaper after you sell all the other parts you dont need.

2 grand is a good deal for a complet burb. The parts you don't need for the swap will bring in some cash to cover your expences

with the parts left over the burban and parts you take off the truck you should make that money back
