Speed Warning Hook Up
Okay, the answer to this may be simple but I just cant figure it out. In the attached pic ( I bootlegged the pic from an old thread ) what or where does the speed warning white wire with the connector that is near the speedo connect to. I'm getting things together to install my speedwarning with tach and vacumn gauge in my truck and cant figure where that wire attaches.

The white wire connects to a grounding pin on the back of your speed warning cluster and the red wire connects to fuse block. When you reach the speed you have chosen for your speed warning the speedometer needle grounds the circuit and makes the buzzer buzzzzz

To add to what les said, the pin the white wire hooks to is only found on speedwarning dashes.

Thanks guys. So by pin ( and this is the back of my dash ) do you mean the little brass/gold colored thing under empty bulb socket hole?

Here is the correct wire hooked to fitting on dash. No the wire doesn go to other side it's just the way the wire was laying.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |
