Re: Fleetside tailgate
I'm interested, is it bowed or have any dents? Could you post a pic of the other side?

Re: Fleetside tailgate
Looks to be in good shape.
Would you be able to drop it off at a greyhound? If I have a friend pick it up how long would you be able to hold on to it? Are there any dents on the either side? Is it bowed at all?

Re: Fleetside tailgate
no dents... doesnt look bowed but be honest i never put it on the truck so not sure> i will try n get a stick or something to lay on it to see if there is any bowing.i looked around for a tailgate for awhile and actually drove to idaho from tacoma just to get this one. well if you you got it from me i would hold for however long u needed me too. never shipped any thing like this so u would have to give me some tips on how to secure it for shipping on greyhound

Re: Fleetside tailgate
Recently received a tailgate via greyhound my tips are to wrap cardboard three time around and especially more protection on corners as its heavy and will be handled on corners. For what it's worth

Re: Fleetside tailgate
If you could take some pictures with the straight edge or with it laying on a flat surface I would really appreciate it. If there is a Greyhound close by that would probably be the best option for me, as 530FF mentioned, just wrapped in several layers of cardboard with the corners reinforced would work.

Re: Fleetside tailgate
Hope you guys don't mind my opinion. I just shipped one not long ago by fedex ground for less than the cost of greyhound and faster too. I think I was 60 shipped about 4 states away. Just don't count fedex ground out. I don't work for them or anything just another option.
