Putting it back together...What step and when?
All,
This is my first rebuild and it's been a looooong (5 years) project with family, kids, etc. I've got the engine/trans installed, brakes/lines installed, fuel lines installed, front parts installed. I still need to install the new wiring harness on the engine bay side. I'm killing my brain trying to figure all the little steps to get this back together. But I think I'm ready to reinstall the front clip...from the photo below, what do you think? Should I wait to install windshield before or after the front clip? Is there anything else I need to hit before putting the front back on? I'm just trying to take advantage of everything possible while the clip is off. It has been really helpful with all the open workspace. Frank |

Looks like your making good progress. I would have the windshield installed before the clip. Then the heater/AC, at least on the firewall side, then the wire harness at the firewall, at least roughed in, trans cooling lines, then the clip, then the balance of the harness.

Thanks! I almost forgot about the trans lines :-) I'm going to hold off on heater/AC for now as that's going to be a new upgrade down the line.
Just ready to get it wired, fired, and on the road in fair weather :-) |

You can do the core support and radiator to get that all set up but I'd keep the fenders off until the end.
The reason behind that is you will be rubbing and bumping into them a lot with what's left |
