Cab to frame mounting kit - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Could someone please tell me in which order the cab to frame mount kit gets installed. There's a square rubber pad, a square steel washer and the round recessed washer. I know that the round recessed washer goes inside the cab on top of the floor.

I was almost ready to tell you I didn't have it saved. This came out of the 47/54 Chevy truck assembly manual.

The LMC catalog shows a pretty good image of it on page 24 http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/ca/full.aspx?Page=24 Bottom right.

Here is the rear mounts

You will also want to check these to be able to get the cab at the exact right height off the frame rails.

Thanks mr48chev. I'm putting in new floor boards, inner and outer cowls and a rocker patches.

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist.
