Hood and Dome Lights
I have a 72 Suburban that I am rewiring. I have a hood light wire, and since there is not a hood light currently on my truck, I thought I would add one. I was looking at the led auxiliary lights at autozone that would probably work, but was trying to find a cheaper option through the millions of led options on ebay. Since I cannot see these cheaper ones in action, I thought I would ask here.
Does anyone have a set up that they have tried and would recommend? I am also looking for a dome light replacement. Mine is busted, plus I wanted to add a second light in the back of the Suburban. There currently is no headliner so I am a blank slate. Again I was looking at the led options, and the same question applies. Maybe something like this... http://www.ebay.com/itm/111274870412...84.m1423.l2649 Thanks, |

Re: Hood and Dome Lights
The 98-07 chevy trucks have a mercury type light that turns on as the hood is lifted, as far as that goes so did the 88-98 and some of the 88-95's had a cute little wind up light that bolted on the fender to light up in trouble. Jim

Re: Hood and Dome Lights
Good call. I didn't even think about pulling one off a new truck. I will have to hit up my buddies junk yard and see what I can find.
Thanks. |
