A/C compressor shield

Here is an A/C compressor shield that keeps oil from slinging all over the bottom of your hood. $45 Shipped conus. Derotoreut has first call on this.

Is this a factory item? Is it common that oil is slung off of ac compressors? I never noticed any on mine.

OEM on some Buicks. I've never seen any stock compressor that didn't sling oil over time. This style is the harder one to find and provides the best coverage.
