Bumps along the way
Well I have a few questions and going through the company I have available at this time for larger items such as sheet metal I was wondering has anyone made their own bed sills? 67-68 rad Coe mounts? Also has anyone found a cheap solution to moving the column shift to the floor? Seems at this point for 400+ dollars I might aswell buy a new 4 speed manual.

If you want to switch your airboxes from AC to heat you will need to patch some openings and make some new ones in the firewall.
I have had the stubby bed cross sill made, not the taller ones though. Maybe check with Empire Sheet Metal. I have some extras of those too, is it for a metal or wood floor.

I have a wood bed, and I'm guessing I'll have to go purely after market for just a heater system?

You have a/c now? Most people have just heat and want to add a/c but you could just use a stock heater box in place of the a/c box, you will just have to reconfigure the holes

No mine was a rats nest torn up rusted cracked you name it. And I figure if I want air Ill roll down the windows. I was thinking just buy some 1"x2" channel and use that and jerry rig the bed.

I dont think you will get away with that as far as getting a safety, you still need a defrost system. I have some heater boxes kicking around if you need a better one.
