neoprene bushing's
Anybody here ever hear of neoprene bushing's???? The dude at the 4x4 shop was telling me how they were all the rage!! What the he!! is he talking about ,or is he talkin outta his a$$.

ive seen ads for them therye suppoused to be tougher than regular rubber bushings. Im hearing mixed reviews. but not enough good stuff that id consider them.

I think they're oem or similar, much softer than poly bushings.

i did a search and found this company http://www.casertainc.com/
that sells them. they had this on there Neoprene - Good general purpose elastomer, with moderate oil, ozone and water resistance. Resistant to freons, high analine points oils, mild acids. Not recommended for phosphate esters, ketones, brake fluids. Temperature range: -65°F to 260°F

I believe neoprene (synthetic rubber)is what is sold as OE rubber mounts and bushings. Definitely nothing new, your parts guy was blowing smoke.
