Scrap metal find!
So there is a recycler in town that also has a scrap store where they sell stuff that might be of value. I love going there to find tidbits such as steel plate, pipe, old carbs, etc...
I went by yesterday and they had saved a set of fenders from a 60-66 C10! The left was pretty shot but the right had been worked on and apparently abandoned. I snapped it up for $25 It's much better than the one I have that needs a good bit of rework. I love that place! I also got an old inside the bed toolbox for $50 Sometimes life is good |

They have two hoods that appear to be in the 63-66 range too. I didn't ask about them but I can if anybody is in need.

Self recycling in Cartersville. It's at Erwin st and Cassville hwy. the store is out back past the scales
