need help......measurement

It's been a long time since I had to move just a cab section, but I remember helping a buddy lift one with a strap, and it kinked the cab bad enough that he never used it. I don't remember if that cab was damaged in that area and we made it worse, or if the 73-87 cabs have to be lifted in a particular way to prevent serious damage.

Anyway, I thought I'd toss that out there, since it may (OR may not) be important to know.
