I used the Lowe's cheap version of CLR filled the over flow part with it full stength, let it sit over night then swabbed with a rag & a screw driver followed by a spray of Armorall and it looks new. not to mention it has a built in washer pump and now I have windshield squirters too. Oh, I also got the squirt nozzels off a full size Ford truck too. I had to do a little tweeking on them to get them to spray between the cowl vents and hit the windshield in the right spot but it worked out great for me. The cut of the over flow fits our inner fenders almost perfectly. I did have to move teh horn relay and the voltage regulator to the other side of the radiator support but I was able to use the exact same mounts & mounting holes so I didn't even have to drill any new holes for that part.
I like this idea a lot. It handles two functions (radiator overflow and washer bottle) and the angle of the tank matches the inner fender angle. Very slick.

If I didn’t have those items in the way it could be mounted directly to the radiator support. It’s very easy to install, having T-bolts that slide up and down in the extruded slot. This provides very flexible mounting adjustment.

Here’s what the mounting looks like in my truck. First is a side shot. The upper and lower attaching nuts can be seen to the left of the tank. I formed hard lines for both the inlet and outlet:

This is looking straight down from the top. The upper attaching nut can be seen near the center of the photo:

This close up almost shows the mounting slot, and the lower nut can be seen somewhat blurry directly below the upper nut:

And I remembered wrong about the mounting bolts. They aren’t T-bolts, they’re standard 1/4x20 bolts so you can use whatever length best fits your application. Here’s a rather crappy shot of the slot showing the upper bolt:

And now that you've pointed it out, it would look a lot better tucked in up against the radiator support. With the inner fenders out of the way I think I'll move the washer bottle over and move it next to the radiator. Thanks for the idea!
Can the tank be turned inside the bracket? And who bent your brake lines. I can never get them turned that sharp without them kinking.

Re: over flow tank

Here is mine. It is a Canton.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ctr-80-201/overview/

More expensive than I remember but it is a very nice piece.

I like the sight glass so I can see at a glance if the system is leaking. It is low here - my Champion Radiator core is leaking. Replaced with Griffin. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=615934

The overflow from the radiator cap goes in the bottom of the tank when hot and sucks back into the radiator when cold. The upper hose is the overflow to the ground (shouldn't ever be needed).

Re: over flow tank

I turned the factory washer bottle into an overflow and mounted a new washer bottle on the heather bolts. Just had to open up the washer mount 1/8" to work on the heater bolts. Still looks stock and uses all stock hardware. Also mounts the washer closer to the firewall and eliminates a lot of hose for the line to the washer pump.

Re: over flow tank

Inspired by the Persh website, I put this together with PVC, some brass pieces, and fuel line
