Yup, Pricey little buggers. Told my wife that if I died, to be sure to have them removed from the truck and sold seperately!

Re: Tow hooks CL find

I'd love a set, but not at that price. I've got more important things to spend the $$$$$ on. Maybe some day.

I think I sold him an axle a few weeks ago
He called me asking if I'd sell or trade him the D44 I have.

Nice guy.

I guess the price is why I don't have any on my truck.

Re: Tow hooks CL find

Hooks are either 60-68 or 69-72. He should list them correctly. If you know what they're worth you should also know what they are.

He bought them here on the message board and knows what they are. Nothing wrong with throwing in other years for more exposure.

If those are worth that much then how much are these 72 extreme bend hooks worth?

Re: Tow hooks CL find

These do have a slight bend/curve to them from the pictures I've researched and side specific too, please feel free to correct me, I'm curious too.

Re: Tow hooks CL find

Another question, are they from the factory or a dealer installed item?

Re: Tow hooks CL find

Actual selling prices lately have been around $200 for the 60-68 hooks, $325 for the 69-72 style, and around $425 for the extreme bends. + or - on any of them from day to day.
The extreme bend hooks are not side specific, the other years are.
Factory installed and will be listed on the spid as V76 option. (i think that is the code)

Wow in that case I'm definitely keeping mine and putting them on my 72 K10.

Re: Tow hooks CL find

Damn!
Sad thing is they are probably close to their weight in gold in todays standards compared to 1972's gold pricing....thanks Nixon....
