Front engine mount bolts
The 2 outside front engine mount bolts are 2 inch 3/8 20 carriage bolts on the AD 3100 trucks. Can I use stainless steel or grade 5 for replacement to originals? I cant find any grade 8 anywhere.
Thanks Pat

Re: Front engine mount bolts
Fasteners warehouse on the net does show them, scroll down the page ahttp://www.fastener-warehouse.com/Grade-8-Carriage-Bolts-s/418.htm
You might try the local Fansteners inc store if you have a local one as they usually have a source for the odd ball bolts and don't get whiny about small orders or at least the local store in Union Gap, Wa doesn't. I'm still not sure that you need a grade 8 in that spot but it is something that you could put some grade 5 or less bolts in and swap the bolts when you got the grade 8 bolts.

Re: Front engine mount bolts
Mr48Chevy, thanks for all the good information. I'll place my bolt orders at this company going forward. The prices are great.
