newbie

Just wanted to stop and say hello to the forum, I have been lurking since I got my truck back in June of this year. I posted some pictures on the site, I have a 1972 K20 with:
- Rebuilt 350 w/vortec heads==not numbers matching but a 4 bolt main
- Rebuilt TH350
- Rebuilt NP205
- Dana 44 front/Dana 60 rear 4:10 ratio
- Factory A/C, tilt steering column
- Lined bed-looks like Rhino but Im not sure
- Custom Delux 20 option
- Long tube headers/Flowmaster exhaust
- The PO did a complete frame off restoration w/powder coated frame-green?
He said that is actually 2 trucks put together, a C20 body on a K20 frame.
It is all basically stock with new suspension/brakes/bushings/body mounts.
There is NOT a SDIP in the glove box so my plan is to make it a knock-off Highlander.

I also plan on changing the gear ratio to 3:08's, this thing SCREAMS down the highway @ 65mph, about 4500 RPM's....Unfortunatly I will have to change the whole carriers out to do it. Cheaper than a 700R4 swap.

Nice nice truck. It deserves a Gear Vendors setup IMHO.
