Back in the Game..
Bought a 68 GMC when I was 15 and sold it 17 years later to a member of Bachman Turner Overdrive. Thought redoing a 70 Challenger would fil the gap, but nope, sooooo
Just brought home a 102,000 mile tangiers orange/white factory ac, 400 (402), wood box, factory tilt-72 custom deluxe. 4 hour trip was 8 hours each way due to black ice and a blizzard, plus customs and .... it's here at it's new home in Canada. Seller included service and assembly manuals and a factory tach cluster with wiring. Last edited by ho70; 10-07-2015 at 05:24 PM. |

Re: Back in the Game..
Well you luck rascal. Well I guess since it is winter up there like what 6 months a year that will be a great "winter" project. All kidding aside, it is an awesome truck Tops on my list or very near the top orange and white with the big block and Air, tach and tilt. Nice indeed. If it were mine it would be on the rotissere so quick it would make ones head spin. Great find, Sir I salute you!!Jim

Re: Back in the Game..
Well, You have had the ruck at home for almost a couple of months now, Are you "Taking Care Of Business" yet? I'm just a little sorry for the crack I just couldn't resist it. I do hope all is going well with the build and your staying warm. We have had some of those "Polar Expresses" sent as far down to us as Arkansas and it is no fun when you go to the shop and your wet sand water is frozen or the shop temp starts out at 20.5 degrees. It is hard to build anything. It was even so cold that my plasma cutter gave a trouble code for too cold, and the company said they had never had been contacted about anyone having that code.Good luck and happy sanding. Jim

Re: Back in the Game..
Well smarty pants....I have spent countless hours already on it shoveling snow off of it and the driveway and........
I removed the starter, which because of the headers was a big pain as I had to put the ratchet through the A frame to get to the wire terminal nuts. Too cold again to install the new starter, but hey stay tuned. Oh yeah, bought poop load of stuff (radio, stabilizer bar etc) stay warm |
