its a start...

Well, I have begun the revamping of 73-87.com. Here is the beginning steps of the new "gargae" portion. Currently I only have the interior portion started. Let me know what you think. I hope you like it so far...

A solid background would make the page easier to read. It would load faster, too.

Lookin' good Jeffery.

You are doing the site a great justice. It has needed a facelift for a long time.

I agree on the background. It does slow down the page loads a little. There are still a lot of folks on dialup. When designing pages, you have to take this into consideration. That's the biggest reason I kept it simple with white or black backgrounds.

I like the idea of the background with the truck fronts and such, but I never could get it to work right either. No matter what I tried, I never could get it to look right, so I pushed it aside.

Anyway, I really like what you are doing with it.

Keep it up my friend.

Mike

That looks good buddy. Are you going to intergrate the two "garage" sections. I noticed on the front page you have two "garage" tabs. The first one is Mikes stuff, the second one is your new page. Do you plan to put mikes topics under your headings? That would be cool.

BTW- I'm sure you know this, but these links are dead. The 4LO page is awesome because it has so many calculators on it. If you need some more calculators, let me know. I have a couple that you don't have posted...

OK, changed the 73-87 info background back to black...the page does load quicker and will be easier to see.

Ken, the "2nd" garage button will eventually be the only garage button...I am just keeping Mikes around until I get all the articles and pics working under the new one. Once I finish that I will be deleting the original one. Also, I haven't gotten to the tables and conversion page yet, when I do i will take you up on your offer if that is OK. Have you given any thought to what I PM'd you about a few weeks ago?

Thanks for the kind words everyone. It feels good knowing I am doing a decent job...but it is taking me forever to get there.

More updates to come soon.
