Canopy Options
With all the modifications I'm making to my truck I think adding a canopy to it would off me the security I need plus be able to sleep in it if I have to if I were to take a long trip.
They only make them in Aluminum and hopefully I can have the option of a smooth sided one.

Re: Canopy Options
Here's a pic (top) of a truck I spotted near Sacramento a few years ago. It might give you an idea of what it would look like.
Personally I like the old vintage shells (bottom), but they don't look too aerodynamic.

Re: Canopy Options
The vintage ones don't come cheap and those that do take a bunch of money to restore. Maybe I will see if they can do the small window in the back door, that big window looks stupid.

Re: Canopy Options
I would go with a large rear window ( for visibility while driving) and then tint the crap out of it so you could have privacy. Put a light and a lock on the inside as well.

Re: Canopy Options
I think they refer to these as shell campers not canopies. JMO

Re: Canopy Options
I'm not sure if that's for our trucks ^^^ or not. The opening near the cab corner looks too wide. You think he would get ticked if I just asked what brand it was?
