Re: 1960 1 ton pics

Well all I have done is what you see. That coil is what I had laying around. As soon as i figure out the electrical issue I bet it will fire right off. Coil has enough juice to burn the hair of a spiders keister.

I had to "convince" the coil bracket to accept a skinny smoother coil. I homemade a L bracket and welded it on...that sucker is not going anywhere.

Re: 1960 1 ton pics

if I remember correctly the new wheels will not fit your truck. The lug pattern is the same but the center whole is too small for the older trucks. You can get 73-87 bud wheels from a newer dully if you are wanting to keep it dual wheel. I have a set for my
'65.

Re: 1960 1 ton pics

I think they work; I've seen quite a few older trucks with them (I almost put some on mine). Lug nuts and studs might need to be changed; IIRC you can get a 9/16" lug nut that works with the caps, I'm not sure about 1/2" stuff. They are called "PYO" wheels, BTW. I think the 67-72 guys have a couple threads, I'll try to dig one up.
