finally

Finally met my goal. My goal was too sell my 69 front clip to get a 67 clip. After buying a set of fenders from a member here back in December, I had a very hard time finding a grille and hood for under $300 each. I found a super nice grille for $175 and paid $200 after he held it for a week for me. Then I scored a straight hood for $30. All together I have $440 into the new 67 clip and I still have my 69 core support, pass fender, and grille

Re: finally

(IMHO) O.E. parts are ALWAYS worth the time and effort to find and use. Nothing will ever fit like the O.E. It has taken me almost 2 years to find everything I needed, plus I met some really awesome "truck" people along the way!!
Good luck with the build!

You got that right. I've been looking for a little over a year for 67 front clip parts at reasonable prices and I sure did meet a lot of nice "truck" people. Some offered to help with body work stuff while others offered to teach me how to weld and fabricate, but out of everyone I met, most of them offered to make my truck a shortbed. I had to pass on that one each time.

I'll defiantly get some pics up soon of my parts. I want to get the fenders primed and the hood to match the grille before I assemble it on the truck.
