Laser etching/cutting

I have been looking at having some laser work done for my truck. A family member of mine has recently bought a laser machine that can cut or etch a large variety of materials, and I would like to use some of their work on my truck. Nothing tacky. The machine can do work on metal, wood, glass, fabric, anything. I was thinking about having some of the wood bed etched, the back window etched, or some engine bay parts cut (maybe filler panels to go in front of the radiator support.)

Anybody have any cool ideas/applications, or seen anything cool done by laser?
