Rally Wheels verses Corvette Rally Wheels ?
As far as truck applications...
Are there any differences between the standard Chevy Rally Wheels and the Corvette Rally Wheels wheels? I realize the bolt hole pattern etc. is different but the actual style of the wheels in themselves. Thanks

the rims could be the same but the centers are definetly stamped differnt besides the cutouts

There's a good bit of difference in styling. The slots being the predominant difference.

Corvette has I believe 5 slots and regular chevy has like 15 ..something like that IIRC..

Let me rephrase it this way...
My 70 Chevelle had Ralley wheels. Was the Corvette Ralleys the same basic design such as my Chevelle Ralleys. I beleive my Chevelle Ralldys had 5 or 6 slots. Posted via Mobile Device

yep all chev car rallies were same basic design - 5 lugs & 5 slots, argent silver. Different widths were available depending on application and year. vettes into the 70's got 15x8's but earlier ones got narrower ones - while original z28 rallies were only 15x6 (or was it 14x6??). but they all did look the same.
the smaller disk brake and the bigger derby caps are interchangeable. I am NOT sure if truck rally caps could be used on a vette (or car) rally?? I realize they have lugs thru the cap on trucks, but could they be used? Good question posed by VA72C10. My gut feeling is that they are not interchangeable (car to truck and vice versa) but I am curious now. |

Thanks for rephrasing. At first,I thought this was a 67-72 Chevy Truck related question and was confused because it sounded like you meant Vette rallye vs the other Chevy car rallyes. The sizes and offsets could vary but the style was the same,as well as the bolt pattern.

I have the Wheel Vintiques 30-Series on mine. The original "Derby" caps will not work with them. Pic 1 are the wheels, Pic 2 are the caps Im running, and pic 3 is a cap that looks like the "Derby" caps that will fit the reproduction wheels.

I had bought a set of aftermarket corvette style rally's. Put them on my 48 car these are 6 lug, Now there on my truck. 15x7's
 They do clear disc brakes.. I'm sure you can get these in 5 lug also..
