what is missing from these engine pictures?

I don't have the money right now for a service manual for 1979 C10 Chevy 454 right now and i'm not even too sure if as much as i know about cars if i would know how to read a manual lol. you can see 2 white things and a bolt all blocking holes of the hoses. What is missing in this spot? I thinking maybe a 2nd vapor charcoal canister but wasn't too sure. did some trucks have two of them? I already have one as you can see from the pictures.

Re: what is missing from these engine pictures?

If memory serves me correctly, the type with 2 wires had regular cruise and the ones with 3 had cruise with resume.

Re: what is missing from these engine pictures?

Somewhat off topic but one of the common issues these trucks have is a bent hood. Your hood hinges don't appear to have much if any oil on them. Do yourself a favor and put a drop or three on anything that looks like it is a pivot point and there are several pivot points on each side.
