Re: how do you get distributor to turn so i can advance timing manually.

What he said ^ its on the passenger side of the base of the distributor. Its easiest with a distributor wrench found at a local parts store for a couple bucks but do able with out. Remember to tighten when done. Use a timing light. Pull the vacuum line off your advance and plug it then I like to set advance to 12-14* advance initially. An about 800-1000 rpm . Everyone has a different advance number they like to use. This is just where I've had good luck with
